I had an impromptu pet session with a friend’s dog! What a cutie she is!  I loved this shot because of the green and brown shapes, but there are tons of great ones of her!

The American Visionary Arts Museum is AWESOME! I am a member there so I try to go to every fun event they hold..which is pretty much all of them. Over the summer they have  films on the hill every Thursday and the museum is always full of fun and interesting art. My friend Carolyn and I attended the annual Life Liberty and Pursuit of Happiness Party which was full of characters and fabulous music from the Amish Outlaws. Check out a show some time for a great night out!    This is a photo of one of the fabulous mermaids at the event. She made this outfit herself out of can tabs!  I love creative people and she looked fantastic!

The Ceremony was at the College of Notre Dame, MD  in the Marikle Chapel. We got some stunning photographs outside in between the drizzling rain at the reception site - The Towson Country Club. There are endless opportunites for beautiful backgrounds there and I wish we  hadn’t had to deal with the rain, but sometimes clouds are a blessing! The ladies from “Your Happily Ever After” event planning were awesome to work with and kept the day running smoothly! Many thanks to my girl Rachel Smith who did some awesome second shooting!

This adventurous couple is off to New Zealand for two weeks on their honeymoon. I am totally jealous and I wish I had asked them if I could tag along! How much fun would that photo shoot have been? Congrats to Matt and Claire on their elegant wedding and I wish you both all the best with your future together!

Mike and Jess was the first couple to book me for a 2009 wedding way back in October of 2008. I was so excited to finally be able to photograph their wedding!  Ashley from Up Do’s for I do’s was there to make the ladies look fabulous! I am always glad to see her there because I know they will look flawless in the photographs! Jess was super creative and made all of her own flower arrangements…can you tell if they are real?  Mike teared up as Jess walked down the isle and made everyone… including myself cry. The ceremony was in one of the darkest churches I have ever photographed in which was a challenge to do without flash.  I loved the marble reflections of the two of them on the altar and the candlelit feel of the ceremony.   Mike and Jess had tons of creative elements to their wedding. There was a fantastic cupcake display, a honeymoon apron dance, the bouquet toss and garter toss had prizes for the lucky catcher,  and Jess’ mom made these fantastic chocolate covered oreos as favors!! It was so great being there for you on your wedding day! I hope your honeymoon is going swimmingly and I look forward to showing you the rest of the photos!!  Congrats you two!!
