Stacy came by the house and brought her little ones. We are doing the 365 at the same time I always tell her how jealous I am to always have miniature humans around to photograph instead of always photographing my cat Ikea! She is a fabulous model, but in no way does she do the diversity of things that kids do! The joke is that Stacy is going to photograph my cat some time this year. I decided to take advantage of her children being around to do my 365! I wonder what she had to eat before this! Crumbs and little kids make me laugh.

Here is a sneak peak of yesterdays photo session for the proud parents of AVA!! It is always a pleasure and a joy to be part of documenting the first family moments for my clients!

This is the hat she wore home from the hospital. Seriously stylish for a newborn!! I wonder if they have it in my size?

I love trying to create a womb like environment for the babies I photograph. This took a lot of muscle from dad holding her up and a lot of feeding from mom to make her fall asleep, but it was worth it!

I can already tell they are going to have a really fun life together with Ava and be totally awesome parents! Lots of kisses and lots of laughter filled the house while we did the photo session.

Family Photographs: The Jaramillo Family: Quiet Waters Park Photos

It was a total joy to spend a couple hours with the Jaramillo Family! We had such a fun time walking around Quiet Waters Park together! The leaves aren’t at the peak yet, but it is always a gorgeous place to have as a background! Everyone participated in a banana jump for me and it turned out to be one of my favorites of the day! Family photos ( in my opinion) should be fun and natural. Kids take a while to warm up to the idea of having their photo taken by a stranger . I try and take my time to get to know them and by the end of the session these two were running around posing for me. Rob and Cyndi are an awesome couple and have made two awesome kids! Thanks so much for being willing to play. I love my clients and sometimes I have to pinch myself that this is actually my job!!
