James and Karen had an absolutely stunning wedding at the Silver Swan in Kent Island. The waterfront ceremony included a chinese tea ceremony, heart felt vows, and a best friend officiant. The tears and laugher made for some gorgeous images throughout the day. My second shooter Kyle and I spent the majority of the day cracking up at the grooms men, marveling at the decor, and trying not to bother a surprise celebrity guest by taking too many photos. They couldn’t have been a more gorgeous wedding couple and I was so honored to be there with all their friends and family from across the country that came to celebrate.

Shout Out : A fluke tornado had hit the The Silver Swan the evening before, but the place looked flawless after basically loosing the back porch! I give all the staff and the planner, Joanne Waters, major props for pulling it all together so fast and keeping their clients happy through the disaster.

These two fabulous people met on Match.com! I love it when the internet dating scene works because I can’t seem to make it work for myself..haha! Their Engagement session was in Easton in January so it was a big difference to not be shooting with numb fingers! Jocelyn is one of my brides that keeps up with my blog so she is super excited to be on here! I am glad to have her on here and to have photographed her and Mike getting married! We had a beautiful fall day and NO RAIN which I was thrilled about because I have been in WAY to much rain this year. Jocelyn wore her great grandmother’s necklace, a stunning lacy dress, and a funky head piece. I am in love with her head piece and might have to steal it when I get married. The historical society is an awesome building with stain glassed windows, tall ceilings, and retro chandeliers. The gardens out back create a gorgeous environment for photographs and wow did we get some good ones. They are both serious disney fans. (You guys rocked it in those hats!!) Of course they are going to Disney World on their honeymoon and I made sure to give them some tips! Epcot is my favorite place to go to eat myself around the world and visit figment ( a crazy purple dragon that talks about imagination) Congratulations you two and I hope you have loads of fun! Have a beaver tail from Canada for me, drink a Margarita or two in Mexico, and say hi to the trolls in Norway !
