I had the honor of photographing my uncle Greg’s wedding to the fabulous Robin! They met at church about 13 years ago, but didn’t start dating till twelve years later. Robin admits to the first attraction occurring when they first met, but she heard he was contented in bachelorhood and didn’t make the move. Greg is a passionate man of his church helping wherever he can and I’m not sure if he even thought about marriage till Robin came into the picture. I knew Greg was hooked when he called me before their first official date and told me that he felt Robin was really special. I had never gotten a call like this from my uncle and I knew he wanted to make it perfect.
The wedding was an emotional roller-coaster for everyone. The church where the two met was the site and they were surrounded by 300 friends and family crying with joy over their union. I myself was having a hard time shooting through the tears! They walked down the isle to “Blue Moon” which was a perfect song for them considering they got engaged under a full moon on the beach! After a beautiful cake and punch reception, speeches, and lots of laughs I was able to do a long portrait session with them by the water! We took some gorgeous images and I was lucky to spend so much time with them on their wedding day! Congrats to you both for finding such a beautiful friendship and love in someone else! Love you both!
