I had the pleasure of spending the evening with this awesome little (and growing) family at Quiet Waters Park! Angela is a makeup artist with Behind the Veil and we work together at weddings. When I saw that her gorgeous self was pregnant I jumped at the chance to do maternity photos! Niko is about the cutest 31/2 year old I have ever chatted with (he seems more like 5 1/2) and I was glad to see he relaxed with the camera around. Ken is such an awesome dad and couldn’t stop loving on either of them during the shoot. I can’t wait to meet the newest addition to the family and I am looking forward to more photographic adventures in the future!

I was so excited to meet him the day after he was born and then again for his first photo session!  Jeff LOVES cars and we didn’t have a chance to use his on the day of the wedding due to rain. So…. I am so excited to introduce my first “Babes on Cars” session.  I admit I wasn’t sure what to do with a car and a baby because of the difference in size, but I am REALLY happy with how they turned out!  The license plate alone was enough to keep me giggling with excitement, but when I saw that baby sign on the basket I almost screamed!  He completely passed out while he was in the basket and we almost thought about keeping him there after the session was over! Congrats you two for making such a cutie and I look forward to more sessions with your growing family in the future!

I love trying to create a womb like environment for the babies I photograph. This took a lot of muscle from dad holding her up and a lot of feeding from mom to make her fall asleep, but it was worth it!

I can already tell they are going to have a really fun life together with Ava and be totally awesome parents! Lots of kisses and lots of laughter filled the house while we did the photo session.

Thank god for Meeka’s favorite ball keeping her attention on me.   Congrats to Lee and Jennifer starting out their life together with a great companion and lots of laughter from what I can see!! Family photos ( in my opinion) should be fun and natural.  Kids take a while to warm up to the idea of having their photo taken by a stranger . I try and take my time to get to know them and by the end of the session these two were running around posing for me.  Rob and Cyndi are an awesome couple and have made two awesome kids!  Thanks so much for being willing to play. I love my clients and sometimes I have to pinch myself that this is actually my job!!
