"I'm not sure if I picked up the camera or the camera picked up me. Photography is a dream come true. The ability to be an artist and have a career couldn't be a more fabulous combination. I live every day with the intention of perfection. I shoot every picture with a smile and the desire to make my clients happy. I always knew that my inability to focus on one thing would be my greatest asset. The details, the moments, and the people in the world around me are my focus."

Ian and Bridget are such a fun couple! Ian is a Nurse at an ER in Baltimore and Bridget is a teacher. I had the pleasure of spending time with them during their Engagement session at Savage Mill where they also had their reception. The location is very important to them because they met by the dart boards at Ram’s Head about four years ago and have been together since.
They got married at Our Lady of Chesapeake in Pasadena and one of Ian’s groomsmen played guitar and sang them a song during the ceremony as a surprise! Their wedding party was so much fun and we spent a good part of the day chucking together. I am so happy with how the silly photos turned out from the bridge! At one point I told them all to kiss and some of them proceeded to make out and be hysterical.
Favorite moment of the day was watching Bridget’s grandmother dance! She was so adorable and Bridget’s mom and she danced the night away! What an awesome couple with a great family! Congrats to you both and I can’t wait for you to see the rest of the photos!

Ian and Bridget signed up for my ” Fab Booth”! Here are some of the silly photos from the reception!

Thanks to my awesome second shooter Kyle Bergner and my assistant Ian for making the day even more fun and capturing some great images with me!

Kento and Clarice’s wedding at Woodend Manor was a merging of Brazilian and Japanese customs. They had a Japanese sake ceremony after their vows and Brazilian dancers during the reception! The day was full of vibrant colors, fun dancing, and really yummy food! They actually took the time to fold 1,000 cranes for their wedding which supposedly gives them ONE wish. Personally, I think that is a lot of work for ONE wish, but the place looked amazing with the paper cranes dancing overhead, on the mantles, and on the wedding cake itself! I wonder what they wished for!!
These two lovebirds met at a Halloween party about 6 years ago where she was a belly dancer and he was the phantom of the opera. Clarice’s maid of honor was there the night of their meeting and retold the story brilliantly in her speech at the reception. Kento and Clarice spent the night dancing together, laughing, and visiting with all the family members who came from around the world to celebrate their union. My favorite moment of the night was watching the face of Kento’s grandfather as he watched the Brazillian dancers! He looked like he had died and gone to heaven!
I always love working with Melody from Historic Events! We are great friends as well as work colleages! The set up was flawless and she was there to help with anything that came up throughout the evening. Kento and Clarice actually found me through Melody so I love her for sending couples my way! If you need a planner for your wedding..she is your gal!
Thanks to my awesome assistant Ian for making the day go smoothly and for always being there when I need him!

Kim and Tim met about four years ago through a mutual friend and became engaged at the French restaurant in Ellicot City. They are a totally gorgeous couple together and I loved being there to capture the laughs, tears, and the fun moments of their wedding day!
Kimberly’s dress was a dream of silk and she looked totally gorgeous in it all day long through despite the crazy heat!. Petals did the flowers for the wedding and the bouquets popped against the girls’ blue dresses. The Inn at Perry Cabin and the water was the background to their classically elegant ceremony and reception. There was a steel drum band, lemonade, and fans for the 90 wedding guests who attended their Eastern Shore Wedding.
The reception had a five piece band and everyone was up dancing and celebrating for the newlyweds till late into the evening. Tim sang a song that he wrote for his new wife. She obviously loved it and planted a big smooch on him when he was finished!
I am looking forward to an after shoot with these two on their boat! Congrats to you both and I hope your honeymoon was a perfect start to your life together!

Big Shout out to my awesome assistant/second shooter Craig who took the photo above on the right! Fantastic job and dedication to laying on the ground to make us have some stellar night shots as well!

Chandler and Ashley are a fantastic couple and I wish I had gotten to spend more time with them! I only met them two days before their wedding because they live in Texas and booked me for their destination weddng without ever meeting me! Ashley was a beaming bride and couldn’t stop the smiling or laughing the whole day ! The wedding at the Naval Academy was stunning and to be honest I’m not sure that I could take a bad photo in that chapel because it is so gorgeous!
It was awesome working with Sarah from Intrigue Design and Decor again! She made the room at the Waterfront Marriot look phenomenal and I am always impressed with her design for a wedding! Also a major shout out to Jamie Lee from Jamie Lee Event Planning who kept the day running smoothly! They danced the night away to an awesome band names Another Level. Chandler had an awesome groom’s cake from Charm City cakes that was a helicopter! It was almost to cool to eat, but they did eventually break into it
Congrats to you both for a beautiful wedding and I wish you the best in your new life together! Can’t wait for you to see the rest of the photos!

It was a gorgeous day for an engagement shoot with John and Brigid at Brookside Gardens. If you haven’t ever been to Brookside there is an awesome butterfly garden, fun gazebos and beautiful water features. They are still holding a Tuesday night music series too which is a really fun date night! John and Brigid met through Craigslist a couple years ago!! When they told me that I couldn’t believe it because I have never heard of a Craigslist love story! Thanks to both of you for having some fun with me after a long work day! I am really excited about the photos we got and I look forward to photographing your wedding in August!

Cory is one of the first friends I made when I moved to Annapolis in 2007! Tim and Cory met through the JayCees ( Junior Chamber of Commerce) and began their courtship a couple years ago. I had the pleasure of seeing their relationship grow and being friends with both of them.

Tim got a stellar ring from Zachary’s Jewelers in Annapolis and popped the question on the Eastport bridge which is one of their favorite spots on their regular walks around Annapolis . When Tim proposed ” I want to take the walk of my life with you” she couldn’t refuse his offer because they are best friends and totally perfect for each other.
The wedding day was a hot one, but that didn’t stop my fantastic second shooter Stevie T and I from working like crazy to get great photos for Tim an Cory. We photographed the wedding party in downtown Annapolis and then back at the reception site for a variety of images on their wedding day. The ceremony was held in a stunning place called Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church where I got my first taste of a traditional Greek Ceremony full of threes and lots of singing!!

The reception tent was filled with sparkling lights, hydrangeas the size of cantaloupes, and purple accents. Cory and her dad had did a hilarious dance to a medly of songs and had Cory’s three sisters, two brothers, and her mom laughing hysterically . There was greek dancing, a swing in the yard, and a totally rocking band called Doctor’s Orders! They kept the party going till late in the evening when I put down the camera and joined in the fun! The food was AMAZING and catered by The Saucy Salamander!

It was a honor to be there for your gorgeous wedding you two! I couldn’t have asked for a better friend to start my life here in Annapolis and thanks to both of you for trusting me to capture such a significant day in your lives.
Here is a sneak peek of Wade and Erica’s wedding in the Bahamas at the One and Only Resort in the cloisters! It was a trip with an amazing couple and a seriously gorgeous destination for a wedding! Congrats you two on a fantastic wedding and love story! Rachel Smith was my awesome second shooter on this adventure! I can’t wait to work with more in the future!! Look out for a new website coming for us in 2010 as we start up a whole new side of our businesses called the “Destination Gals”.
