I don’t usually colorize photographs, but I played with this pic I took today of the hydrangeas in my house.
At least I am actually posting this photo on the day it was taken! What a concept!!
"I'm not sure if I picked up the camera or the camera picked up me. Photography is a dream come true. The ability to be an artist and have a career couldn't be a more fabulous combination. I live every day with the intention of perfection. I shoot every picture with a smile and the desire to make my clients happy. I always knew that my inability to focus on one thing would be my greatest asset. The details, the moments, and the people in the world around me are my focus."

I am starting to think I am a pet photographer with the amount I post animals on here. I love being able to get great moments with and of animals. This is one of the cats of my trainer. He is always flirting and put himself in the most perfect pose for me so I had to grab the moment. Thanks again to the fuzzy friends out there providing me with plenty 365 moments.

This day was the closest I came to not having a 365 photo. I was running around like crazy in the last 20 minutes of the day trying to make a photograph. I think once it gets warmer I won’t be so distracted by things inside and be out doing lots of more interesting and fun photographs, but now I am content with details and probably too many of my cat. I would be really disappointed to not make this goal of 365 photos because rarely do I make personal projects for myself. I am pretty happy with the last minute photo that I took of the plant in my house.

I had an impromptu pet session with a friend’s dog! What a cutie she is! I loved this shot because of the green and brown shapes, but there are tons of great ones of her!

Another fabulous night out Swing dancing! I snuck this photo in of one of the gals who dressed up. More to come of the actual dancing. Charm City Swing is having a photo competition where I can potentially win lessons! Let me tell you…photographing swing dancing is possibly one of the hardest things I have done in a while. Anticipating movement, how fast the dancers actually move, and how dark the environment is usually leads to some really difficult shooting. A great challenge that I am willing to take for a couple free lessons!

I am totally in love with my new Macro lens! I can finally make the abstractions that I have always dreamed of.

My friends are so important to me! Thanks to everyone being so excited about the 365 and being willing to participate.

50 days of photos!! I am super proud of myself even if I still can’t get them posted daily! I’m not sure how many photos there will be of Ikea, my cat, through this year, but I never tire of them. She is a great little companion and she definitely poses for me on a regular basis without me asking for her to.
